CEFOPERAZONE IP 1000MG + SULBACTAM 500MG
Cefing 1000mg/500mg Injection 1 is used to manage a variety of bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and intra-abdominal infections. It is a combination of cefoperazone and sulbactam, which work together to inhibit bacterial cell wall synthesis and enhance the activity of cefoperazone against resistant bacteria.
This medicine also helps manage respiratory tract infections like sinusitis and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections like cellulitis, intra-abdominal infections, gynaecological infections, bone and joint infections, blood infections like septicaemia, central nervous system (CNS) infections like meningitis, and ear, nose, and throat infections.
CEFING-S 1.5GM is a combination antibiotic injection used to treat a wide range of moderate to severe bacterial infections.
It contains:
Cefoperazone 1000 mg: A third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
Sulbactam 500 mg: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the activity of cefoperazone by preventing bacterial resistance.
Broad-spectrum coverage: Works against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Beta-lactamase protection: Sulbactam helps cefoperazone remain effective against resistant bacteria.
Effective in multiple infections, such as:
Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis)
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Intra-abdominal infections (e.g., peritonitis)
Septicemia (blood infections)
Skin and soft tissue infections
Bone and joint infections
