CEFEPIME + SULBACTAM

SD-BECTUM 3GM is a broad-spectrum antibiotic injection that combines:

• Cefepime, a 4th-generation cephalosporin, which kills bacteria.

• Sulbactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, which prevents bacterial resistance and enhances the effect of cefepime.

It is used for moderate to severe bacterial infections, especially hospital-acquired infections or drug-resistant infections.

🧴 Directions for Use

• Dilution and reconstitution must be done with sterile water or normal saline, as advised.
• Administer slowly over 30–60 minutes (IV).
