The SWIZPOD DS Dry Syrup 50mg/5ml is an antibiotic medicine. It is commonly given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections targeting the ears, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It is also effective in treating typhoid fever in children and adolescents.
Give SWIZPOD DS this medicine to your child an hour before or two hours after meals. If your child develops a stomach upset, prefer giving it with food. Make sure to stick to the prescribed dose because it is given keeping in mind the type of infection, its severity, and the age and body weight of your child. I

SWIZPOD DS is a dry syrup antibiotic formulation containing:

• Cefpodoxime Proxetil 50 mg per 5 ml (after reconstitution with water).

It is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used mainly in children to treat a variety of bacterial infections.

🧴 Directions for Use

• Shake the bottle well before each dose.

• Shake well to mix the powder evenly.
• add boiled and cooled water up to the marked line on the bottle.

• Use the measuring cup or dropper provided to ensure accurate dosing.

• Preferably give it after meals to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset.

🏠 Storage

• Store the dry powder in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
• After mixing, store the syrup in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C).
• Use the reconstituted syrup within 7–10 days.
